The steps below use an example to illustrate how a temperature alert event moves through the SignalGuard system.
A fridge sensor reports 9.2 °C to SignalGuard; in this example the configured upper alert threshold is 8 °C.
While evaluating the rule, the system creates an alert event and notifies users with push messages.
The operations team reviews the event and carries out the actions needed to resolve the unexpected signal.
After acting on it, the alert can be closed; the event history and the actions taken remain searchable.

SignalGuard receives measurement data through a REST API. You can submit data through your preferred data broker or gateway, or with a custom integration. The connection method depends on your devices and their data transmission capabilities.

Devices or gateways that can submit measurements in the SignalGuard data format. Whether your existing devices can be connected should be confirmed based on manufacturer and model.
It depends on your devices. If data submission is already in place, configuration may be enough. Otherwise a gateway or a custom integration is needed. The API documentation supports the technical work.
It depends on the plan configuration, but by default rules are evaluated every minute. The total alerting time also depends on how often the sensor measures and submits data, and when the notification arrives.
Anyone who has notifications enabled for the given organisation. This can be set per organisation in the mobile app.
Yes. Devices can be organised into locations, so measurements and events can be followed together with the devices involved.
Yes. Under a custom agreement the mobile app can be built and published in the app stores with your branding — your own name, logo and colours. The features and the backend are the same as the SignalGuard app. Request a quote and we will work out the details.
